Human trafficking is a growing problem in Florida, especially among children between the ages of 11 and 15. Through HTAP’s programs, children are taught the signs of trafficking and the techniques used by traffickers to lure children away from their families and loved ones.

Nola Theiss, Executive Director of HTAP, says,”The Wildcats Charitable Foundation understands how important it is to support programs to teach kids how to protect themselves from the dangers of trafficking and recognizes the value of the work Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships does in summer camps, afterschool programs and now in the Lee County Schools. As we expand, we appreciate their support which helps us reach even more children.
